AnimeJapan is a professional anime exhibition jointly organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Association of Japanese Animations, and the AnimeJapan Executive Committee. It has a history of 14 years since its first edition in 2002. The event has grown significantly over the years, with the number of exhibitors increasing from 102 to over 344, and the number of visitors reaching nearly 132,492 in 2015. It has become one of the largest anime-themed creative exhibitions worldwide.
